Chicago is known as The Windy City. Its nickname was given by Charles Dana an editor of New York in 1893 for Chicagoan habit of rabid boosterism and shameless boasting. It is the second largest financial center in United States.

The ideal time to visit Chicago is in summer or fall. Peak season is summer because of lots of special and outdoor activities. In autmn, days are sunny and crowd is less so you can travel in peace.
