Jamaica is an island nation situated beside the Caribbean Sea. The island was originally claimed by Spain in 1494; later in 1655, was seized by Britishers. The island has a history of slavery and the slave trade. Now a days the island is famous for beaches, sea food, sun bathing. The major source of income in the island comes from tourism.

The island is surrounded by a narrow coastal plain. The climate in Jamaica is tropical, with hot and humid weather, although internal regions have a more temperate climate.Rain can come at any time of year and usually comes in short, heavy showers followed by sun. • Port Antonio: Port Antonion is still unknown to most tourists. The city is secluded from main cites. Its seclusion is what gives this town its charm. The beaches are beautiful, albeit a bit rocky. Great place for peace,silence and relaxation.
• Ocho Rios : Also known as Ochi, is located on the northeastern shore of Jamaica. A popular destination for cruise ships and tourists. It has bulk of resorts, supermarkets, restaurants and tourist attractions.
