Description:	Hotel Bellevue is an Art Nouveau hotel idyllically situated on the banks of River Aare with the Alps as a backdrop. Located in the centre of Interlaken, the hotel is close to tourist attractions and a short walk from Interlaken West train station. The hotel's guestrooms are decorated in light neutral shades and furnished with both antique and contemporary pieces. All include balconies, cable television, refrigerators, telephones, safes and bathrooms with hairdryers. Smoking rooms are available on request. Guests can start the day with a hearty complimentary buffet breakfast served in the light spacious breakfast room with its stucco ceiling, large windows and parquet floor. Guests can make use of the ski storage facilities and then go for a stroll in the hotel's riverside gardens, or enjoy a game of pool in the bar. Internet access is available in public areas and for guests who arrive by car, parking is available for CHF 5 15 per 24 hour period. Interlaken has good links with nearby ski areas with guests using the Jungfrau Railway, the highest railway in Europe, to reach the pistes. This and all other branch lines into the mountains run from Interlaken Ost station. Once on the slopes, guests can enjoy numerous Alpine sports including downhill skiing, cross country skiing and snowboarding. With two lakes nearby, plenty of water sports are on offer, and there are numerous bars, shops and restaurants in the vicinity. Interlaken West train station is 400 metres from the hotel and Zurich Airport is 175 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of two and a quarter hours.
