Almond Morgan Bay Beach Resort offers an informal clublike environment, where adults and children are welcome year round. This resort's daytime theme is tropical informality, but the resort offers casual, oceanfront and elegant dining venues, as well as cocktail bars and live entertainment. The plantation style Bay Gardens Hotel in Rodney Bay, St. Lucia, is an island retreat situated 15 miles from Vigie George Charles Airport and 45 miles from Hewanorra International Airport. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to Reduit Beach, just one quarter mile distant. The National Cricket Stadium is an eight mile drive or golfers can tee off from beneath swaying palms at a course located 11 miles from the property. Sulphur Springs, a dormant volcano in the dramatic Piton Mountains, looms one and one half hours from the hotel. Vacationers can also visit Roseau Rum Distillery, a one half hour drive.
