Location. Overlooking the Chicago River, the 27 story Renaissance Chicago Hotel's premier location at the corner of State and Wacker provides guests access to some of the best the Windy City has to offer. Positioned at the edge of the Loop, Chicago's central business district, this hotel is three blocks from shopping on Michigan Avenue, and within one mile of the John Hancock Center, Sears Tower and Art Institute of Chicago.

The Travelodge Hotel Downtown in the South Loop of Chicago, Ill., is one block from Lake Shore Drive and two blocks from Lake Michigan. The Art Institute of Chicago is three blocks from the hotel and South Loop shopping is four blocks away. McCormick Place convention center is one half mile away. Airport shuttle service is pre arranged by staff.
Two restaurants and a cocktail bar on the property feature breakfasts, a sushi bar, Chicago fast food and Pan Asian cuisine. Complimentary weekday newspapers are available in the lobby, across from a business center providing fax and photocopy services. Internet access is available for a fee. Hotel Expert's Tip. Dinnertime became an all night event at the Wyndham Chicago's Caliterra Bar & Grill exhibition kitchen. I dined on a six course tasting menu and cheese cart while Executive Chef Rick Gresh prepared innovative cuisine for the restaurants ever evolving menu.
