Expert Tip. I felt like a native Hawaiian at the torch lighting ceremony, held across the street from the hotel on the Kuhio Beach coast. The ceremony takes place at sunset by the base of Duke Kahanamoku's statue, a tribute to the islands' renowned surfer.

Location. Carolina Grande is located across the street from the Atlantic Ocean in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Barefoot Landing is three miles away and Broadway at the Beach is five miles away. The area is known for its golf courses, which number in the hundreds. Myrtle Beach Jetport is less than four miles from the resort.
Hotel Features. Overlooking the Grand Strand, this 20 story resort features a heated outdoor pool and spa tub. Guests are also welcome to use the facilities of a neighboring resort, which include indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs and a lazy river.
