Hotel Features. Unique design elements include an exterior moat with a five story, shimmering water wall, an expansive, marble bordered lobby and streamlined glass elevators. Shops, a business center and a central activities desk are contained on the hotel's premises. Guests can stay in touch via Internet access which is available in public areas. A fifth floor sundeck houses an outdoor pool, spa tub, and a quiet, shaded terrace. Yamano Day Spa & Beauty provides health and beauty services and holds a small fitness center with views of tropical gardens. Complimentary shuttle service transports guests to Waikiki's beaches and all of the shops and restaurants within the Waikiki District. The hotel's signature restaurant, Prince Court, serves island style and Japanese cuisine while displaying third floor sunset and marina views. Open for dinner, Hakone features Japanese regional fare while Marina Front Cafù provides high tea, on request, and light fare for breakfast and lunch.
Guestrooms. This esteemed property houses 521 air conditioned guestrooms in a 33 story tower. All accommodations squarely face the ocean, with preferred views achieved from the highest floors. Rooms have floor to ceiling windows with upper panes that can be opened. Marble bathrooms have separate tubs and shower stalls. Room amenities include refrigerators, coffeemakers and cable/satellite television and high speed Internet access is available.
Expert Tip. Within walking distance of the hotel, Ala Moana Park features a calm water beach ideal for children. The park also contains beautiful jogging paths and shaded picnic areas.
Pool Closure Notice:
The hotel's pool is scheduled to be closed for renovations March 13 through March 15, 2007. During this time, the hotel will operate a complimentary beach shuttle to Ala Moana Beach Park. These dates are subject to change.
